“Please note that while every effort will be made to adhere to the planned itinerary and restaurant stops, unforeseen circumstances such as availability of certain foods, changes in restaurant operating hours, or other factors beyond our control may require adjustments to the tour schedule. We reserve the right to substitute restaurant stops or menu items with alternatives of equal value and quality to ensure an enjoyable dining experience for all tour participants. Caribbean, African American soul, seafood, West African & Central American bites & appetizers. Different variables such as holidays, events, days of the week etc., will determine which cuisine will be available during scheduled tours. Please note: this tour does not offer full plates of cuisine but appetizers and bites. As we will be walking it is not recommended to stop & eat full dishes.
The food tours usually last 3 hours. There are about 4-5 five food stops including cultural landmarks where we discuss brief history of the neighborhood.
Non-alcoholic drinks are served during the food tours. If interested in alcoholic drinks book one of the bar crawls.
Due to the array of food choices, it is best to contact via email if you would like vegetarian options before the tour. So, your tour can be specifically personalized for you. Please see the additional information section for more info.
These are predominantly group tours, if looking for personalized tour there is an option to book and customize your own personal tour.
Yes, food tours & pub crawls are booked on the website, until there are no more slot openings for the day & time of the tour.
The group size of food tours & pub crawls ranges from 1-15 people per group.
Yes, children over the age of 12 accompanied by an adult.
There is no specific dress code for food tours or bar crawls but, we kindly ask that participants refrain from wearing clothes that are offensive, distracting including those with profanity, bigoted, political or religious beliefs. Royal League Travel is committed to providing an inclusive and discriminatory free environment for all participants.
Additionally, please wear appropriate attire for walking comfortably as every tour requires distance of walking.

Absolutely!!! In fact, solo travelers get discounted 10%. We love solo travelers. The owner of the tour company is a solo traveler herself.

Bar Crawls FAQ
A bar crawl is an event where a group of people visit multiple bars or pubs in a designated area, typically on foot, to enjoy drinks and socialize. Participants move from one bar to another, sampling different drinks & experiencing the nightlife of an area. Bar crawls are often organized as social events, celebrations or themed outings. Bar crawls provide an opportunity for participants to explore various bars and establishments in a fun & sociable setting. It’s a popular activity for groups of friends, tourists and individuals looking to experience the bar/lounge scene in a new city or neighborhood.
21 years old, no exceptions. ID’s will be checked upon arrival. If under 21, payment will be forfeited on the day of tour. No refund.
Absolutely, solo travelers are welcomed and encouraged to join. Alcohol does not to be consumed to join the bar crawl. Please keep in mind, those around you will be consuming alcohol if you choose not to.
There is no mandating to tip. Please keep in mind, New York City thrives off of tip culture. Tips & gratuities for bartenders & staff are not included in the ticket price. Participants are encouraged to tip appropriately for good service. It is customary in New York City to tip bartenders, tour guides & staff in the hospitality industry, and your generosity is appreciated.
Please consider bringing cash for tipping purposes. Thank you for supporting the service industry.
The bar crawls typically range from 4-5 hours. Please take into consideration the time and day of the week. As popular establishments tend to take longer due to availability of seating and staff attendance.
An alcoholic drink is offered during each stop. Typically, two bars/lounge per crawl is included in the purchased ticket.
No, participants may feel free to purchase food, appetizers, additional drinks outside of purchased ticket at establishments.

If for some reason you happen to be led astray from the group. You can email or call the owner and meet at the next location. Rarely this happens as we encourage the group to come, stay & leave together. We are a traveling family 😊. No man/woman gets left behind.

Waivers
“All participants are required to sign a waiver before the start of the tour. Waivers can be signed electronically via email prior to the tour or physically on the day of the tour. Failure to sign the waiver or refusal to do so will result in the participant being unable to join the tour, and any payment made will be forfeited. We prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants, and the signing of waivers is essential for a smooth and enjoyable experience. Thank you for your understanding and compliance with this policy.
Tips & Gratuities

Allergies: Clause for Food Allergies
“Please inform the tour guide in advance if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions. While we will make every effort to accommodate your needs, please be aware that our food tour includes a variety of food items and may not be suitable for individuals with severe allergies. It is the responsibility of the participant to communicate any allergies or dietary restrictions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.”
Attire on Walking Tour This is a walking tour.
“We recommend wearing comfortable attire and sturdy walking shoes as this food tour involves walking between food stops and exploring the city on foot. Please come prepared for a leisurely stroll and dress according to the weather conditions on the day of the tour. Comfortable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing will ensure a pleasant and enjoyable experience during the walking tour.”
Lateness
“Please arrive at the designated meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time of the food tour. Late arrivals may result in missed food stops or delays for the group. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or delays, please contact the tour guide as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements. Please be respectful of the group’s time and adhere to the scheduled itinerary to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.”
Cancellation Policy:
In the event that you need to cancel your reservation for the food tour, please notify me at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled tour day to receive a partial refund. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the tour or no-shows on the day of the tour will not be eligible for a refund.
One rescheduling is allowed or a gift certificate depending on availability.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, so please contact us as soon as possible to discuss any changes to your reservation. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.”
Wheelchair accessibility
Please notify by email if you need accessibility & I will try to accommodate you as much as possible. Please note that our tours may not be wheelchair accessible if trains are involved due to the infrastructure of New York City. This limitation is a result of the city’s layout and historical architecture. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage guests to reach out for alternative arrangements or recommendations.”

“Children 12 & over are welcome to join our tours. Please note that children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the tour. Right to deny participation at discretion
Royal league Travel reserves the right to refuse participation in our tours or events to any individual at our discretion. This decision may be based on factors such as behavior, attitude, intoxication, or any other reason deemed inappropriate by the tour organizer. Refusal of participation may result in the individual being asked to leave the tour, and any payment may/may not be forfeited depending on the situation at hand. We prioritize the safety and enjoyment of all participants and reserve the right to maintain a positive and inclusive environment for everyone involved.”
